Dreaming of a campfire treat but don't have access to a fire pit? These Frozen S'mores Bars are the perfect solution! This no-bake dessert captures all the flavors of a classic s'more – the sweet and crunchy graham cracker crust, the rich chocolatey pudding, and the gooey marshmallow filling – in a refreshing, frozen form. It's a fun and easy recipe that's great for kids and adults alike, and it's sure to be a hit at your next summer gathering.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Make the Graham Cracker Crust: In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix well until the crumbs are evenly coated. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a greased 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. Prepare the Chocolate Pudding Layer: In a separate bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and milk according to package instructions. Pour the pudding mixture over the graham cracker crust.
  3. Assemble the Frozen S'mores Bars: Spread the thawed whipped topping evenly over the chocolate pudding layer. Dollop the marshmallow creme on top of the whipped topping, then use a spoon or knife to swirl it into the topping.
  4. Freeze the Bars: Cover the pan with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until the bars are firm.
  5. Optional Chocolate Ganache: Heat the heavy cream in a small saucepan over medium heat until simmering. Remove from heat and pour over the chocolate chips. Let sit for 5 minutes, then stir until smooth and glossy. Pour the ganache over the frozen s'mores bars and spread into an even layer. Freeze for an additional 30 minutes before serving.
  6. Cut and Serve: When ready to serve, remove the pan from the freezer and let sit for 5 minutes to soften slightly. Cut the bars into squares and enjoy!
  7. Tips:
  8. For a richer chocolate flavor, use chocolate graham crackers for the crust.
  9. You can substitute homemade whipped cream for the store-bought whipped topping.
  10. If you don't have chocolate ganache, you can simply drizzle melted chocolate chips over the top of the frozen bars.
  11. Store leftover frozen s'mores bars in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 months.
