These Air Fryer Tandoori Chicken Wings are bursting with bold, aromatic flavors and couldn't be easier to prepare. Marinated in a yogurt-based tandoori spice blend, the chicken wings get cooked to juicy perfection in your air fryer, resulting in crispy skin and fall-off-the-bone tenderness.
This recipe is perfect for a weeknight meal, appetizer, or even game night. Serve them up with your favorite dipping sauces like cilantro chutney, raita, or even ranch dressing for a crowd-pleasing dish!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the yogurt, oil, garlic, salt, ginger, paprika, smoked paprika, coriander, cumin, turmeric, and cayenne pepper. Add the chicken wings and toss to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or ideally overnight.
  2. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the chicken wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not touching.
  3. Air fry for 15-17 minutes, then flip the wings and cook for an additional 15-17 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
  4. Once cooked through and crispy, remove the wings from the air fryer and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauces.
  5. Tips:
  6. For extra crispy skin, during the last 5 minutes of cooking, increase the air fryer temperature to 425°F (220°C).
  7. If your air fryer is small and you can't fit all the wings in a single layer, cook them in batches.
  8. Leftover wings can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer or oven until warmed through.
